Sensei Mohammed Alfaaz
Shotokan Style 4th Dan Black Belt Karate practitioner. I began learning Karate at the age of 14 years, from watching martial arts films they gave me the inspiration and motivation. Bruce Lee is the one figure I will always look up to as I advance in my discipline.
In 2010 I travelled to Singapore for my higher studies and received my JKA 1st Dan (Japan). I competed in the 1st Singapore Open competition and was given the opportunity to compete in the JKA World Meet in Thailand (2011) as a Singapore team representative.
I was a Karate instructor under Qatar Karate Federation where I earned my 2nd Dan in 2016 leading to an opportunity to work alongside the Head Coach of the Qatar Karate Federation, a former champion from England.
My biggest achievement was with Sri Lankan Karate Federation where I was awarded my 3rd and 4th Dan in 2019 and 2021
This is the result of my dedication, love, and enthusiasm for Karate.
In early 2023 I was given the opportunity to join Team Rankine Karate under Sensei Michael’s supervision and enjoy sharing my skills and knowledge with the students.
Karate has assisted me in overcoming my own personal challenges over 23 years. It has given me many opportunities to work in diverse environments, allowing me to adapt accordingly and be the man I am today!
